VINTAGE GERMAN "BIRD HUNTER" HAT PIN

This pin is a German "hunters" hat pin. Made in Western Germany, circa 1940's. Marked. Made of pewter, it depicts a European Grouse resting on an Oaktree branch, hunting rifle, oak leaves, and 2 hanging drop faux deer teeth made of celluloid. These were popular wear on men's hunting caps. Measures 1 3/4" long including drop and 1 5/8" wide. Excellent vintage condition from an estate. Great collectors item.
