VINTAGE HAND EMBROIDERED WHITE LINEN HEMSTITCHED 17PC PLACEMAT~NAPKIN~RUNNER SET

This listing is for a vintage (never used) exquisite 17 PC set of fine linen placemats, napkins and table runner. This set includes 8 placemats, 8 napkins and 1 table runner. The placemats and runner are embellished with fine hand embroidery, hand applique and hand drawn thread work with beautiful hemstitching. Workmanship like this is an art of the past and is certainly a rare find. This set was purchased in Hong Kong in the early 70's. They have been in storage, have never been used and are in excellent condition. There are no holes or stains that I see. I have hand washed them, drip dried and pressed them. The table runner measures approx. 17" x 42 1/2", placemats 11 1/2" x 17" and napkins 16 1/2" square.
