ITEM: VINTAGE HARRIS TWEED Herringbone Blazer—Men’s 46 Regular—100% Pure New Wool—Handwoven in Hebrides—1 Flaw LABEL SIZE: Men’s “46 Regular” OUR APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS (IN INCHES): Chest (Pit to Pit): 45 (22.50 x 22.50) Shoulder (Top Seam to Top Seam): 21 Arm (Top Shoulder Seam to Cuff End): 26 Length / Height (Collar Bottom Seam to Tail): 32 Single Vent: 9.50 CONDITION: VERY GOOD MINUS Bright & clean. Looks only lightly used, however there is a small (somewhat hard-to-see) hole on the back about 8 inches below the middle of the collar. The hole is somewhat hard-to-see because the hole’s background of orange (from the orange lining) matches the subtle orange stripes of the pattern. This hole is repairable. (Without the hole, this garment would rank as VG+.) FEATURES: Brown & white herringbone patter with orange, yellow, & green lines. 2-button front; 3 buttons on each cuff. 2 hip pockets with flaps; 1 jetted chest pocket on left. Interior: 3 jetted chest pockets (1 is small) & 1 small, jetted pocket at waist. (No holes in any of these.) Notch lapels. FABRIC: “100% Pure New Wool…. Handwoven in the Outer Hebrides from 100% Pure Wool…. [Orange] Lining: 55% Polyester, 45% Viscose.” BRAND: Brand tag is missing—but this is a quality garment whoever made it. CIRCA: 1980s?
