declynnsgranny Do you know if this is genuine turquoise and does it test as sterling silver? Thanks!

missmiscme This is not an authentic squash blossom. Not vintage, not turquoise, not Native American & not sterling silver. This is a modern costume jewelry reproduction. Being honest & transparent in your listings pays off.

toniwa @missmiscme I honestly posted it as what my mom told me as she was gifted it from my grandma in the 1970’s she just gave it to me yesterday. Is is authentic turquoise. And I will now take it to a jeweler and get it tested for being sterling or not. Until yesterday I hadn’t ever heard of a squash blossom necklace. Thank you for the information.

toniwa @declynnsgranny I do know it is turquoise, but going to mark as not for sale until I can get confirmation from a jeweler later this week on sterling or not. My mom asked me to post for her as she was given from my grandma in the 1970’s and I replied to the other commenter I hadn’t heard of a squash blossom until she gave me yesterday.
