VINTAGE PEDRO CASTILLO TAXCO MEXICO STERLING NECKLACE, 15 INCHES

Very simple modernist design. Solid vintage deco piece with relief design. Maestro silversmith Pedro Castillo worked for William Spratling in the 1930s and in 1939 became a designer for Hector Aguilar at his Taller Borda. He also designed for Miguel Melendez. In the1940s he opened his own shop. This was made in 1949 or after. It is 15 inches long and 14mm wide. The weight is 39 grams and it's in excellent vintage condition.
