Up for sale is a beautiful pair of vintage porcelain figurines created by Kathi Urbach in the late 1940s. These figurines depict Asian royals and are a perfect addition to any collection of Asian-themed collectibles. The figurines were manufactured in Japan by Ucagco and showcase Japanese culture. They have not been modified in any way. These figurines fall under the category of collectibles, specifically in the Cultures & Ethnicities and Asian categories. Add this unique and elegant pair of figurines to your collection today. This pair was created by KATHI URBACH around 1948. There is not a lot known about her. She was an American artist who started out making one of a kind figurines of wire and cloth figures which she covered with ceramic slip and painted. Then for about 4 years she did figurines for UCAGCO and Coldport. URBACH figurines were sold in upscale boutiques and department stores and are now highly collectible. My guy had his original sword but my girl has lost the bowl that rested in her hands. You never find KATHI URBACH FIGURINES without damages. These have no flaws other than missing bowl.
