VINTAGE ROYAL DUX ART NOUVEAU BOHEMIA-CERAMIC JAR-24KT GOLD TRIMMED--TRINKET BOX

This is a hand-painted mint condition Royal Dux ceramic jar in their trademark deep navy, bright white colors & 24KT gold trim. The lidded jar is marked "Royal Dux" surrounded by "Made in Czechslovakia" along with the indication "24". The Dux Porcelain Manufactory dates back to 1860 & was started by Eduard Eichler. The high quality pottery & porcelain produced there are now generally referred to by the abbreviated name "Royal Dux." This jar is either early 20th century or manufactured 1990s. I researched Royal Dux marks & even appraisers have difficulty dating pieces since Royal Dux is still manufactured with the original Royal Dux molds. So, I cannot say for sure that it is vintage. Use this beautiful jar for trinkets, candies, bead necklaces or whatever you like.
