VINTAGE SUEDE ROGER EDWARDS COUTURE: BLACK SUEDE JACKET and PANTS 8

Through the 1980s, the Canadian artist and designer Roger Edwards specialized in beautifully made clothing constructed with the finest suede and leather--he was the go-to leather and suede clothing designer for Hollywood stars, royalty, and anyone else who could afford his pieces. This is one of his jackets with matching pants, from the mid-80s. It has shortish jacket (longer in front and shorter in back), ink-black buttery soft suede, plain, with rhinestone trim (2 rhinestones are missing pictured) The rhinestones.run up the front, around the neck, and down the front again, they run down the sides of the pant (pants have side pockets) It has shoulder pads. The sides are gathered with rhinestone straps (pictured) The lining is acetate and is a little creased from being folded for so long. It could use a brushing with a suede brush- string in some pictures is an inside tie
