VINTAGE SURREY ALLIGATOR SMALL HANDBAG PURSE

This is a wonderfully made petite bag by Surrey. It's in remarkably good condition considering its age, probably from the 50's. There are two places on the leather handle where the stitching has come loose. They appear to be cracks, but I think they're seams where the leather handle was pieced together. If you collect this type of bag, you know how to repair these. The gold tone clasp is showing some wear and has a few scratches. Front has a decorative leather tab, gold clasp, and short strap handle attached with gold rings. The inside has a functioning zippered pocket and a few other card type pockets. The lining is leather. The bottom of the purse is in very good condition. Original tag. This is a vintage piece.
