VINTAGE women's black long sleeve dress, M Nancy Bracoloni for Shangri La

Black slinky dress originally purchased from a vintage thrift store for a New Year's Eve party in NYC. ~ Collar tag says Nancy Bracoloni for Shangri La - Lot 9/50, interior tag says made by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union - maybe a limited production small designer piece. ~ true vintage style, tasteful and elegant ~ mid length, hem falls below the knee with 12" slit on left side, straight waist, long sleeves, slight gathering creates puff at shoulder with small shoulder pads - see photo ~ fabric tag says "95% rayon, 5% metal" smooth and light weight, shot through with a mesmerizing pattern of vertical alternating gold and silver threads and black embroidered details - see closeup photos ~ no size tag, but fits like an 8-10 / size M: measurements pit to pit approx 18.5", length collar to bottom hem approx 41" ~ good overall vintage condition, a few of the metallic threads are a little frayed in a few places - see closeup photos - but the design of the dress screams vintage so it just looks right, and the pattern itself makes the loose threads hard to notice. Hem along back collar is not sitting flat - see photo - but that could probably be easily fixed with some ironing and/or a few stitches with some black thread.
