VIRGINIA JOHNSON Signature Sonia Dress ~ Butterfly Print White / Teal Green / Burnt Orange/ Brown From Summer 2007 Size Small Virginia Johnson is a prolific illustrator, textile artist, clothing designer and founder of an eponymous collection of caftans, tunics and scarves. After studying Art History, she studied fashion design at Parsons in NYC. One of her first jobs was a design assistant at Helmut Lang, where she worked on his first shoe and bag collections with Prada. This vintage Virginia Johnson summer dress is bright and bold with an abstract Butterfly print. The signature style is Sonia and it's from Summer 2007. The fabric is a very fine cotton voile that is breathable, airy and comfortable on. It's fully lined from straps to hem in a super soft, light white voile. No need for a slip and the wide straps make it convenient for a bra for some support if desired. The printed cotton soft yet crisp right out of a suitcase. Two deep, useful front pockets. The cheery print will add some jazz to your resort stay or at-home vacay! Fire up the blender for the daiquiris! Condition is NWT. The tags are crumpled from storage, but the dress is perfect.
