Reposhing this item I purchased from @tennischan. The shoes are lovely and still brand new, but they were too big for me. Similar construction to Rothy's (made with recycled plastic bottles, washable) but insoles have more padding, and they're a bit wider. reginasusan @btownthrifts Hi! I don’t believe this is a wide. It doesn’t say so on the box, and I don’t think this style comes in wide. I don’t think these are extra wide…I just think Rothy’s are really narrow!

reginasusan @btownthrifts For reference, I am normally a size 7. I wear 8/8.5 in Rothy’s. Vivaia customer service said based on my measurements, an EU 39 would be best, but they are too large for me. EU 38 is great.

rmregan13 I adore the coloring of these shoes but am confused by your listing. You say EU39 but also 8.5. The Vivaia website says 8.5 is EU39.5; can you confirm if these are EU39 or EU39.5? Thank you!

reginasusan @rmregan13 Hello! They are EU 39. You can see 39 on the shoes in the second picture. The original seller said 8.5, and when I googled, the top post said EU39=US8.5. It seems it is a gray area! Zappos and others show US 8 = EU 38-39, US 8.5 = 39, US 9 = 39-40. However, I did see some websites that show EU 39 = 8. When specifically looking for a Vivaia size guide, I found a Vivaia chart that shows EU 39 = US 8-8.5.

rmregan13 @reginasusan Thank you, I have a pretty good feeling about these, based on your reply and a couple reviews saying that they run a little big. I also measured my feet in MM and the size chart on Vivaia says I am an EU39!
