- Worn for approximately 5 obstacle course races - Always washed in cold water (hosed off), air dried, and stuffed with newspaper. Never put in a washing machine or dryer - Very light wear but still tons of life left on the lugs and outsoles - No rips or tears other than some wear on both tongues, as shown in photos - Please note this is a fairly narrow-fitting shoe if you’ve never worn it. The grip, drainage, and quality are excellent. I just should have sized up - 2 pairs available for sale - Discontinued by VJ and no longer available for sale

llagno Hello…my sister is a size 8…do you think half size up is enough?

kathleendavis04 @llagno Hi there! It depends. If your sister has narrow feet or likes a close-fitting shoe these could work. That said, they’re VERY narrow (it’s marketed as a performance fit). I have a different model that’s slightly wider and sized up to a 9. I should have done the same with these. Thanks!

adriedoherty @kathleendavis04 hey! I’m familiar with VJs and have a size 9 in the spark (I’m normally a size 8). I do have narrow feet and wanted your input if you think an 8.5 in XTRM would work? I’ve gone through 7.5 and 8s and both were too small.

kathleendavis04 @adriedoherty Hi there! If the 7.5’s and 8 were too small you might be ok in the 8.5’s. I also wear a 9 in the Sparks. My normal size in other trail and road shoes is typically an 8.5 unless they’re particularly wide, in which case I’ll size down to an 8. If I were to buy another pair of XTRM’s I’d probably try a 9. I can wear the 8.5’s if I had to, but my feet just aren’t happy in that size anymore. Hope that helps!
