Vintage 1960's blue mod sheath dress designed by Shannon Rodgers for John Silverman size small. Shannon Rodgers was a world-famous fashion designer for the stars and First Ladies in the 60s & 70s whose work is now featured in a museum at Kent State University. The New York Metropolitan Museum also has a few Shannon Rodgers pieces in their collection. Super unique and beautiful mod sheath dress! Would be so cute with white knee high boots! I guarantee you will be hard pressed to find anything similar. The unusual front panel with large rhinestone buttons gives it a military vibe, while the mandarin collar lends it a modern cheongsam feel. Hidden pockets expertly tailored in line with front seaming. Size Small Shown on a modern size 2 dress form. Fully lined Double hook and zip closure No fabric content, it has the weight and texture of linen. Excellent, like new vintage condition, no flaws noted. Paper tag detached when I was putting the dress on the dress form, but the fact that it had the paper tag inside the dress indicates that it was rarely worn or even never worn.
