VNTG Y2K LEA ROME French-Made Collarless Evening Jacket with Fringe, Size 40

This vintage jacket was purchased in the late 90s/early 00s from the Lea Rome store in NYC. Lea Rome clothing was made in France exclusively for this store in small workshops and was modeled after couture French fashion of the moment as reinterpreted by the in-house designer. This jacket is inspired by a Chanel evening jacket (Karl Lagerfeld's Fall 2003 line has a very similar design) and is exceptional quality. The jacket closes with five hidden hook and eye closures. The front, bottom hem and cuffs are fringed, and there are two front pockets with fringed edges. The fabric is a cotton-blend with a soft feel in black, white, and shades of tan. The jacket is in very good, pre-owned condition with some minor pilling. Women's Size 40 Approx.
