VTG 1940s Lilli Ann Peplum Suit Brown Wool with Piping US12 W30

Jacket + skirt. Deep dark brown. Wool. Feels like a worsted wool. Metal side zipper on skirt (button can be moved over 1inch). Single rhinestone button on jacket. Built in shoulder pads. Peplum. Long sleeves on jacket. Lined, silk. Simple skirt, kick slit in back. Label: An Original from Lilli Ann San Francisco. Approx. US12, please check measurements. And the most wonderful satin piping on collar and along jacket edge - "goldy" sort of peach and off white. Excellent vintage condition and freshly dry cleaned too. Upon close inspection, we found small moth bite mends here and there, 1) on inside of one sleeve, front of jacket under lapel, 2) two on a shoulder in back of jacket. As well, there is a minute brooch prick on front of jacket. As found. These are very very hard to see when worn. See pics. Sold as is.
