VTG 1940’s Vargas Manufacturing Gem Earrings EUC

Vargas Mfg was a costume jewelry company founded in 1945 in Providence, RI. The CV mark was used ~1947. This lovely .25” pair consists of yellow gold plated earrings with a deep, green rhinestone, surrounded by clear "diamond" rhinestones with screw back. This beautiful, romantic pair is in excellent condition, with strong gold plating that has kept the set from tarnishing. The earrings bear the "Vargas" trademark, which is a "V" imposed over an elongated diamond shape. Gently used condition.
