VTG 1996 Susan L. Richardson Summer Splendor Moon Face Brooch

British by birth, artist Susan L. Richardson created a series of whimsical jewelry from 1989 to the late 1990s. Her jewelry is unique because of its artisan performance, the so-called “art to wear.” Traditionally, she signed her decorations with the full name “Susan L. Richardson” and the year of manufacture. In creating her jewelry, she used mixed metal – solid brass, antiqued with brass and sterling silver.
