VTG 50’s 28 Lenwile Ardalt Marble China Dinner Place Marks Cards Fruit Vegetable

I found 28 of these vintage hand painted place holders, #7363. They were imported from Occupied Japan by Lenwile Ardalt sometime after 1945, WWII. The photo of the original box, is not mine. I took a screenshot of someone else’s box to show you exactly how it was described. You’re supposed to write on them in pencil and then remove the lettering to reuse later. I can see where someone else has used them. The material is called Marble China. But, I don’t know if it is porcelain, or real marble. Sorry. Each one is 3” X 1”. A few have chips.
