Rare and original vintage Class-5 Mountaineering Down Puffer Jacket. Men’s size large. Forest Green exterior with a Kelly Green interior. Hidden full zip closure with a snap placket, snap pockets at front, side pockets, cinches at the waist, snaps at the cuffs. The tag on this jacket is original and indicates it is one of the earlier jackets made in this company’s infancy. Justus Bauschinger is the designer who founded Class-5 after working for a small and relatively unknown The North Face. Revelyn Lago was one of 3 original sewers. The movie “Back to the Future” made Class-5 jackets popular after the character Marty McFly wore one of the puffer vests in the movie. Good vintage condition with some small marks and a small slit on the right arm that looks like it was once repaired. The jacket has been stored and has a slight vintage smell.
