VGUC. Ok... When did you think you could buy a pair of shoes of this caliber for under a $100? These shoes have been carefully cared for and stored. The fading or spots I point out in the photos are hardly noticeable in real life. They could do with a good leather cleaning at the cobbler near you. The heels and soles are in excellent condition. The reason these shoes and others like it in my closet are worth the investment is because with a little TLC; re-soling from time to time; replacing heel tips; they last and last. The leather doesn't deteriorate. The style is classic. Sometimes its good to realize that fast fashion doesn't last. Not just because it's well priced for instant gratification but because in the end: "Cheap is costly." Costly to the environment; costly to replace it so often; costly because we invest nothing of ourselves. You will cherish these shoes as they should be cherished; because they are well made; they represent the company that made them with such pride; and they will outlast our fickle tastes.
