This vintage Beacon glass vase is a beautiful addition to any collection. The hand blown glass and optic onion appearance make it a unique piece that is sure to catch the eye. The vase stands at 6.5 inches tall and measures 7.75 inches in width. This original art glass vase was produced in the early 20th century (1911-1940) in the United States and is a great representation of contemporary style. The purple color of the vase adds a pop of color to any room and is perfect for displaying flowers or as a standalone decorative piece. Additional information on the Beacon Glass Company: The company was founded by August Hofbauer in 1931, naming the company Vineland Glassworks. They produced both laboratory glassware and art glass. When Hofbauer was unable to pay his bills, the electric company took over the Vineland Glassworks and renamed it "Beacon Glass." Beacon Glass shut down in 1949. The vase does have some flea bites in the sides, and there is what appears to be a bubble that made it to the surface during production. Other than that, the vase is in good condition.
