This is a good-sized, vintage, Chinese, porcelain vase. Pink and green on gold (gilt) and white ground. Gourd shaped below the neck and mouth. About 9” tall by about 7” wide. 4” wide at the mouth, with gilt edging. It is pretty’s solid/heavy. The body features four colorful panels—2 are a vignette of a nobleman and attendants, and 2 are natural theme—peaches, butterflies, tropical birds, peonies and other flowers, with a meander design. There are a couple places of artist’s imperfection. See the photos. This is not damage, but hand painting. The vase is in very good vintage shape. There is a little wear to the painted scenes.
