VTG Cocktail dress. Bergdorf Goodman Size 8

"Miss Bergdorf" by Bergdorf Goodman is a name synonymous with class and style. This beautiful '50s-60s era Size 8 (closer to size 6 in todays fashion) midi cocktail dress has sheer, flowy black material over an eggplant/aubergine lining, which can be seen peeking through the top of the sleeves and throughout the body of the dress. Very subtle and alluring! It is in excellent vintage condition, with minor wear in the lining. There is a small pea-size hole which is not visible as it is under the layers of the skirt. I've included many pictures as part of the description for complete transparency. This dress goes over the head. My dress form is a size 6 for reference. Compare the measurements of the this dress to something similar in your own wardrobe that fits comfortably. (Remember that women's bodies were smaller in the 50's and 60's).
