VTG George Briard Leaded Crystal Glass Silver Overlay Cake Plate Decorative

Signed George Briard Clear Crystal Glass and Silver Overlay Cake Plate is 11.25”. It is hand painted in a decorative floral medallion and has a scalloped edging. Very good condition with a bit of silver paint worn on edges and some little glass grooves from use. Otherwise clear glass and as pretty from front as it is from back side. According to bio: Briard was an American designer in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. He is most well known for his signature dishware and glassware - everything from cups and plates to gold plated serving dishes.
