Stunning find! Vintage 1970’s/1980’s Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock Strapless Ruffle Satin Organza Southern Belle Gown. Sweetheart neckline with a double Ruffle accent and basque waistline. Boning for structure in the bodice. Ivory satin skirt with a gathered Ivory overlay that is sheer and shimmery. Skirt has a tulle underpinning layer for fullness. A wide sash ties into a dramatic bow at the back. Perfect for wedding, engagement or prom! Beautiful vintage condition with some signs of wear. It has a small hole in the neckline Ruffle (hidden by the second ruffle) and a small tear at the back seam line of the satin skirt. This could be mended by a professional to minimize the look. Visible staining on the rim and underside of the satin skirt from previous wear (cannot be seen when worn). Size and fabric care tag removed.
