VTG Hand-Woven Fruit Basket Decorative Elephant Flower Single Handle Brown India Vintage, 1930s? Hand-woven basket, likely from India. Repeating pattern of elephants with tusks wearing saddle blankets, and flowers. Single handle. Measures approximately 8" tall x 8.75" in diameter. Wire hooks visible at the rim. Flecks of blue (paint?) on the bottom, perhaps where it stuck to its display shelf. The stitching where the handle is attached is visible, and somewhat loose.
