VTG I Hadley I Buttons I Set of 7

A set of 7 gold-colored buttons, 3 large & 4 small, by Hadley, in original box. They are older, and do show some wear, but have not been washed/polished so *may* improve w/some TLC. Photos 7-8 show approximate measurements of larger buttons & smaller buttons, respectively. Four are loose in the box, FYI. Composition unknown, but nothing fancy or they'd be stamped accordingly. Box is marked Hadley, back of buttons are stamped "Hadley", shown in photo 5, & sticker on back of box is Hadley-Kalbe, shown in photo 6. The history provided below dates them anywhere between 1960-1987. According to the NY Secretary of State Business Entity records, Hadley was The Hadley Watch Band Corp, incorporated in the early 1960s, and "Merged Out of Existence" after a merger with Bertram Kalisher's Kalbe Company (sometimes written "Kalbé") in 1981, ultimately dissolved in 1987. (Photos 12-13 as best as I could screenshot records.) A small bio in one of his books reads, "Bertram Kalisher is Executive Editor and a publisher of the magazines Chronos, and Watch and Jewelry Review. He is the director of the American Watch Guild. He began his career operating a retail jewelry store in Manhattan. In 1950 he formed Kalbe Company, importer and manufacturer of fine watch attachments. In 1960 he purchased the Hadley Watch Band Corporation and changed the company name to Hadley Kalbe Company." Last photo shows a much more expensive version of the same buttons by a brand that needs no introduction!
