VTG Italian Diamond Point Crystal Decanter W/Silverplated Dog Head Spout/Han

VTG Italian Diamond Point Crystal Decanter W/Silverplated Dog Head Spout/Handle This is an absolutely gorgeous Vintage Italian Diamond Point Crystal Cut Decanter with Silverplated Dog Head Spout and Handle. The spout resembles a lion or gargoyle, but upon further research, it is a sculpted Dog head. The piece is old, bordering on antique from the 1950's. This is a larger version of this type of item measuring in at approximately 13.5" high by 7" spout to handle by 6.25" across the base. The crystal glass is in perfect condition with no cracks or anomalies. The silverplated areas are pretty good with some tarnish and wear around the lid's edges and on the handle, which is inherent with items of this old age, but overall, the presentation is wonderful. The piece is marked "MADE IN ITALY" at the base of the top silverplated spout section. This would make a lovely accent to any bohemian, Shabby Chic or Vintage environment.
