VTG Italian Empoli Amber Glass Vase Brandy Snifter Gold Diamond Optic MCM Italy

Vintage yet modern in style 1960s Italian brandy snifter /apothecary jar shape diamond optic quilted pattern by Empoli in clear gold (lighter and more honey colored than typical amber glass imo.) This MCM/Art Deco style is very reflective and when the sun hits it, it turns into a glowing fireball! Thinnish glass with a wavy decorative edge. I also have a matching large round bowl in the same color and style. Hand made blown glass, it has a pontil mark on the bottom. Size: 8″ h x 5″ w Condition: I can find no defects with this other than it has a few inclusions in the glass - which are part of the manufacturing process - see photos. There is a mark on the pedestal foot but this is again a makers mark, not a crack. Keats said "A thing of beauty is a joy forever". Each of us has a different idea of what "beauty" is.
