Gorgeous!! Vintage JANET REGER 100% Silk Chemise Nightgown Slip Dress Ivory White Bridal Lace Marked sz 36 EU = Sz 6 US = fits like 6 or possibly an 8? Small/Medium. No stretch. No slit. Approximate measurements side to side with garment laying flat: Gown: 13” drop at front neckline 9” shoulder strap (shoulder to top of gown) 19” across armpit to armpit 18” approximate waist 22” approximate hips 31" across hem 54” shoulder to hem Vintage from the late 1960s or 1970s Materials: silk, lace Vintage Long Spaghetti Cross Back Straps by Janet Reger for Wilkes Bashford San Francisco. One of JR’s first creations before she started her own line. This sexy gown is made of gorgeous silk and has ivory lace trim on bodice (back and front) and hem and has extremely long spaghettis straps - which I suspect would need to be shortened for almost anyone but I have left them as is for the right buyer - easy to do by hand if you have scissors, a needle, and thread. One of the front straps is tied to the lace so that side can easily be shortened when altered. In very good vintage condition, no tears or holes that I can see. Has one spot on front that can be seen on close up inspection. And mark near front hem(likely from touching the floor while hanging). These can likely be removed by a dry cleaner or the buyer.
