VTG LATR Signed Southwestern Theme Earrings

Offered here is an early 1980's Rare Signed LATR Southwestern style pierced 2-1/2" earrings. Depicting what seems to be a goat in the center of the nickel size post, with dangling elements of feathers, stars, beads and crystals, in silver tone, with black and white enamel and popping colors of pink and turquoise. They are in wonderful vintage condition. The Lunch at the Ritz company has been around since 1982. It was started by two friends, Esme Hecht and Zander Elliott. They began making wild and funky earrings for women that wanted to wear something different, something that nobody else was wearing. Usually enameled with rhinestone accents and lots of dangling elements, earrings made by Lunch at the Ritz were, and are, whimsical and fun rather than being driven by fashion trends. The brand branched out over time to add brooches as well as necklaces and bracelets, some of which had interchangeable embellished toggle clasps. Mr. Hecht sold the business In 2012 , which is now listed online as Lunch at the Ritz by Zander Elliot. Mr. Hecht currently operates a separate company called Ritzy Couture by Esme Hecht. The aesthetic of Hecht’s current jewelry is similar to his early designs, and he also sells pieces from his personal collection of Lunch at the Ritz jewelry on his Ritzy Couture website.
