VTG Laurence Kazar Black White 100% Silk beaded Sequin Evening Gown Formal Dress

Vintage 80s 90s Laurence Kazar Black with White floral sequins and pearls 100% Silk fully beaded long Evening Gown Formal Dress size Medium In excellent vintage condition (especially for being fully beaded silk!), is an elegant piece of vintage history that is timeless enough to fit into any current formal function. Intricate black glass beading in a mesmerizing, avant garde, wavy zigzag pattern over the full black silk body (sheer silk exterior with black lining), a sheer collar/chest area with white sequins, white and silver beads, and tubed pearlescent beads in floral patterns flowing down the sleeves. Features a keyhole neckline at both the chest and back. Features shoulder pads and a long 18.5" slit in the middle back In great vintage condition, two particular flaws to note - one area of beading at the right breast (but still gets lost in the busy pattern), and an area at back right armpit area where some beads had been lost (but I have sewn off the ends to prevent further bead loss). See photos. I have done a thorough check all over the dress and have not found any other areas, but due to the nature of being a fully beaded gown, there is a possibility there are other small flaws. Measurements: Pit to pit: 20" across for a 40" bust (measured where the armpit seam meets bodice - however, it seems to me where the actual bust would be is closer to 17.5" across for a 35" bust) shoulder to shoulder: 16.5" Length: 56" from shoulder to hem; 46.5" from pit to hem
