SOLD -- VTG Louis Vuitton Monogram Leather Clutch

LOUIS VUITTON Marly Dragonne GM Monogram Leather Pochette Clutch Callouts: Canvas and leather in is overall great condition for being 40 years old 😳. No signs of cracking on canvas, leather corners are patina and has some light markings, piping is in great condition. Leather bands on side are in worse condition, showing cracking. This is the older version of this bag with the wrist strap that was attached by d ring on the side — the strap, d ring, and tab leather for the d ring is broken off. This can be readded by a cobbler if you wish — I’ll even have extra authentic straps soon which can be purchased to have a cobbler make a new strap. I actually prefer it without the strap as an easier purse insert. The front zip pocket was missing a zipper pull, the zipper tape was torn, and parts of teeth missing. I cut out the rest to make an open pocket for my phone (fits bigger size iPhone with room to spare). The interior and exterior zip pockets has peeling and have been stripped down to the fabric below so they could remain usable. A cobbler could recoat if you wish. Interior open area has a few markings but in overall great condition. I am not 100% sure if the main compartment zipper is the original on this bag. It may have been replaced at some point. However, all zippers on it are authentic. Date Code: 844
