VTG 1991 Needlepoint Christmas Stocking Cherub Angel holding Roses and Green Garland Ribbon. Multicolor with Majestic shade of what I call Midnight Navy Blue. 100% Wool Needlepoint and 100% Cotton Velvet Back. Approx 15.5" x 8". . Condition: Very good, pre-owned, vintage 1991 Imperial Elegance. Machine made. LOOKS handmade but it is NOT! Peking Handicraft is known for their excellent machine made work, but do not let anyone tell you this is handmade. Several barely visible stitches missing, expected with age and not uncommon w needlepoint. Does not affect or detract at all.
