VTG- Rare- ‘50s Golden Infinity Knot w/ Aurora Borealis Crystals

Vintage Coro- 1950s Gold-Tone Chanel Set Swarovski Aurora Borealis Gemstones. These gorgeous, mint condition earrings are a sparkling delight. With the embossed gold-tone ribbon crossing through the channel set gems, it gives them a bit of an infinity look to their oval shape. At first, I had never seen an advertisement or a mention in a book about these earrings, but I have learned that there was a product line for them. I have a brooch, that matches this exact design but is in a silver-tone backing rather than gold. These were from a purchase at an estate sale. I bought many things there, but fell in love with jewelry all over again when I opened a tin of jewelry mixed with small toys. These earrings were in that tin, somehow preserved perfectly. The family mainly owned jewelry from Trifari, Vendome, Coro, Monet, Sarah Coventry, LeRoy, Austria, W. Germany, Japan, and a few unnamed famed pieces. I bought them all and learned about the history. These have been appraised for their value but according to the books I have, are likely worth more than what is posted. The quality and longevity of these earrings are a true sample of Coro’s finest designs.
