VTG- Sarah Coventry- 1964 Wizard of Oz Tin Man, Lion & Scarecrow Brooches

Vintage- Sarah Coventry, 1964, 25th Anniversary Tribute to the Wizard of Oz Tin Man Brooch- I skip a beat.. how sweet. This little tin man is beyond special. I don’t need to go into the intricacies of each detail because I hope the pictures would do that for you. Instead, I wanted to talk about the importance of this piece. This brooch was not sold to the public. It was given out at Sarah Coventry Seller conventions as a gift to top sellers. The company created three brooches to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz, which are: The Tin Man, The Scarecrow, and The Lion. I show a picture of all 3. I have an extra Tin Man. They are rare, they are so special on so many levels because only a very limited number of them exist, and they were never meant for the public. Add that to this brooch being in pristine condition and… woah. This brooch is dedicated to all of you that are young at heart.
