It is gold plated with red enamel. The feathers have faux emeralds, sapphires, and rubies. The peacocks body is a dark bluish black enamel with white rhinestones. The back of the pin is marked Sphinx and the number 2046. The brooch measures approximately 2 inches wide, and 1 3/4 inches long. There are no missing stones. Enamel is vibrant.
