VTG Tan tweed Western sports coat by Farah of Texas

Western-styled sports coat in beige tic-checked tweed with mixed brown, tan, and slate-blue thread, likely dating to the 1980s or early ‘90s, made by the El Paso-based outfitter Farah of Texas Countrywear. Notch lapels, Western-pointed front and back yokes, pointed hip pocket flaps, and tan suede elbow patches. The two front buttons and three buttons on each cuff are woven brown leather, and the back has a single vent. Two inset inside pockets—one on each side—with the embroidered Farah of Texas Countrywear label on the inside right. No marked size but measures approx. 40 chest (20” armpit to armpit”) with 26”-long sleeves.
