VTG Yamatogumi Pegasus Footed Red & Silver Jewelry / Trinket Box - Made in Japan

Beautiful footed jewelry box, made in japan. Embossed pegasus in armor adorns the top, and a deep red lacquer surrounds it. There are a few minor scratches to the red lacquer. Metal is tarnished as expected for a silver plated piece nearly 80 years old. Inner red silk lining is in great condition as well.  Measures 5.5" x 4" x 3".
