VTG silver blue whale pierced dangly earrings

I know this may come as a surprise, but I am not a whale expert, so while I think these earrings *could* be blue whales, they could very well be some other type. Each whale measures about 1 1/4" from top to bottom (not include the hook/closure). They are silvertone (could be sterling, but I couldn't find a mark anywhere) and have a little tarnish, but are generally in good condition and ready to wear!
