1989 Vintage "Pine Leaf" from the Noble American Indian Women Plate Collection. A collection of eight limited edition porcelain plates which honor outstanding native American women. Plate number 3857A Plate is 8.5" dia. with no box. What is the story of Pine Leaf? Pine Leaf from the Crow tribe, was a teenager when her warrior father was killed by the Blackfoot Tribe. Still, she rallied a small army and led a retaliatory raid, killing and taking prisoner those who attacked her people.
