Valentino Miss V from 1975

Two pieces, top and skirt. Velvet collar on shirt and waistband of skirt. Purchased in Italy in 1975. Back then I was a size 10 although this is sized as a 46 which is typically a 12. This set fit me as a perfect size 10, flowy, room all around, very comfortable. I do not remember the last time I wore it, probably in the 80's. Has been in a cedar closet but there are some moth holes on the sleeves, not major but still there. took pictures of the inside of garment to show shoulder pads. It is a very sophisticated outfit. It did have a brown velvet ribbon which went around collar and got tied as a bow. I did wear it buttoned up which I think looked best. All original buttons, none loose. The skirt has a pocket on each side. The zipper needs to be repaired. You could not buy the fabric now for this price.
