Hi I was wondering if you happen to know, I take an 8.5 in the low top vans I can't recall awhile ago I tried on can high tops if I needed a larger size would you happen to know if the same size is good in the high tops.

Yeah that's a really good idea, I'd appreciate that.
The length of the sneaker might be helpful & I'll measure the low tops I have here.
I think it was last winter I had tried on the high tops & just have something sitting in my head saying that it's weird that just because it's a high top I need a bigger size.
But I really don't remember.

on second thought these might fit
I'm going away this week to see doctors, I'm having surgery next week, but I'm going to stop in a store that sells vans n see if I can try a pair on. if it is a good size I'm definitely interested

@d2j thank you, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I've just been very busy traveling back to NJ this week to see doctors calling doctors to finalize what needs to be be done before surgery on Tuesday I'm still very interested in them I'm just running short on funds this month with all the extra medicine that I need & all the copays from all the tests n all the doctors I've had to see.
I'm trying to work out the money. hopefully they'll still be available when I do. 🙂

@d2j I'm sorry for being back to you so late. every since my surgery I just haven't felt right & I'm still in tremendous pain where the internal stitches are they are on either side of my torso internally I see the surgeon Wednesday but I'm sure he'll give me some stupid answer like I need more time to heal n what about my whole area on my skin that now I have no feeling there. sorry for venting

@d2j I am still very interested I didn't have any high top vans 8 do have high top Adidas I guess I can measure.
I'm sorry I've just purchased many shoes on this & another site that didn't fit me. So I want to try my best to make sure they'll fit not too big or especially not too small. Thank you for your patience. The pics w measurements definitely helped tremendously thank you for doing that I Appreciate it

@d2j thank you for your kind words & patience with me. I started looking at these before my surgery, my surgery was at the end of August.
I'm so silly I just took out my tape measure to take my measurements and started getting spasms so I had to sit I wanted to measure a pair of my vans I actually was trying to straighten up a little here been

@d2j difficult I had just moved in not that long before my surgery so I still have tons to unpack & put away & just realized I have these in low tops. I don't know if they run the same sizes.
I have adidas in low & high tops & I take different sizes in them. I wonder if this is the same I don't have any high top vans only low top platforms.

@d2j I also have horrific back issues & terrible pain in the past 1 ½ I lost 4" in height because my discs are all compressed. it's terrible I wasn't that tall to begin only 5'4" so now I'm
5' & I think I shrunk more. So the platforms help add the height I lost as well as give me extra cushion.
I always have to wear something on

@d2j my feet, I've never been able to wear flats but now even sneakers that aren't platform hurt my back, which is where all the pain goes when my feet aren't comfortable in addition to my feet hurting as well. When 8 get back up once the spasms subside I will measure the pair I have. You are so kind & patient. I hope by the time I get it together, lol they'll still be available. 🙋♀️🙂♥️

@d2j OMG I apologize for not getting back sooner. I did measure my low tops like these & they are the same measurement. When I sat down to get rid of the spasms I fell asleep, I just came back from a long trip to NJ to see my doctor's there & I guess it caught up with me today.

@d2j hi I put in an offer in I hope it's not too low. I probably have to have surgery again soon. I think they will be good thank you for your patience.
I saw the surgeon for a post op visit , now I have a lump & went for a scan on Monday I should have the results sent to the doctor hopefully tomorrow

@d2j & then I should find out what is going on but either way there's a lump & it needs to be taken out, so surgery is the only way. I wanted to put an offer on before I have to have surgery again. Thank you so much for all your help. I hope you're having a wonderful evening 🙋♀️
