Their 2mm thick waterproof suede leather upper and abrasion resistant soft-shell textile imparts durability as well as flexibility. They feature a dual zone lacing system that allows independent adjustment of the shaft and over the instep. On the inside, the boots have a removable 7mm thick felted wool liner that helps in temperature regulation during extreme weather conditions. Their internal EVA midsole combined with commercial grade Aerogel foam insulation gives resistance to conductive heat loss from the ground.
