Our elastic has been tightened to perfected and our booties fit best without socks, our boots are designed to regulate heat during climate conditions (keep cold in summer and hot during winter) therefore barefoot is preferred. We use real “touch pro shoe grade” quality cork fabric that is fused to a soft fabric backing. It’s also been treated with UV and abrasion protectants as well as scotch guard. This means it can be wiped clean with a baby wipe or soft cloth and water! It has similar durability and feel to animal leather but is vegan friendly, our brand is also PETA-certified Vegan. As a bonus, cork has natural anti-mildew/anti-bacterial qualities. Vegetable based dyes and fair labour laws are used in making this cork. The bark of the cork oak tree is peeled, without harming the tree, every 9 years. This means it can be reharvested again and again!
