Velvet jacket ruffle collar cocktail piece. Circa 1980

Black velvet feel cocktail jacket. Fully lined peplum jacket ruffle collar with acetate edging. Shell 69% acetate, 16% rayon and 15% nylon. Lining is 100% acetate. USA size 8 but fits more like a six. Vintage 1980s. 4 snap front closure with decorative only fabric shank buttons. One button at waist missing… see photo. Not needed for closure and not too noticeable. Can replace all 4 buttons or wear with narrow sequin belt as I did. Jacket has great structure. Slight padding at shoulders. Sleeve length 24”. Jacket length 33” waist 28-29” and bust 36” . right sleeve has soil that I did not try to wash or brush out. Has NOT been dry cleaned
