Velvety red jacket or cardigan

Velvety red jacket or cardigan. I would say the image is pretty close to the color. Kind of like a candy apple red. The bottom has a thin layer of another fabric. Never worn. New with tag. I was hoping it would be more magenta or plum when I bought it online. Smoke free but dog loving home.
