Ivory strapless silk faille ballgown with a kidney shaped neckline and a hand pleated skirt accented by a high front slit. The gown was originally intended to be a beautiful lavender. Luckily, VW decided to offer it in ivory for more traditional brides. The dress is in almost perfect condition. I say “almost” because it was worn by me. The dress has a bustle already built in. It looks like taffeta but it’s silk! The way it feels against your body is yummy and luxurious. It’s also so comfortable. Olivia is a modern play on a classic gown. I chose it because it is a beautiful gown with such lovely details throughout. The hand-sewn pleats are so different from the usual pleats seen in bridal gowns. The high slit is a fun surprise. You feel like a cool bride. The dress may seem simple, but it isn’t. It’s a minimal and modern play on a ballgown, and is edgy in it’s own way. The train follows you like a waterfall as it doesn’t fan out like traditional gowns. It’s unique and absolutely chic! Best thing is that it’s already made! Vera Wang takes about 6-8 months. You can style however you want. I chose to do a headband, gloves and cathedral length veil. It was epic! **All brand tags are on the dress. I can also provide the receipts from VW if requested.** **The dress retails for $8,800, but because I have a larger bust, they made a made-to-measure bodice. This added $1,760 to the total cost not including tax.**
