missieandashley @bettiwears I love the vintage shoes with square toe. First of all, I need it for my neuromas and bunions but I’m a girl of the 70’s also and I like “the look” Better quality as well! Unfortunately, they are a tad short on the length. Older shoes tend to run a little smaller! Great boots and price ! Looks like you have quite an assortment in the background! Looks like my closet! missieandashley @bettiwears haha I keep looking don’t I!!!! I measured every boot I had last night.! The only thing that I was trying to tell without you remeasuring is the length and if the back of the heel was directly at 0 and exactly where the toe is , 9.5 , 9.75? With older feet wider feet come with the teritory unfortunately! I need a bunion surgery! Lol. Thanks

bettiwears @missieandashley Side note-I had that surgery on both feet in 99! It took about a year to be able to put pressure in any kind of heel but let me tell you it was worth it because I don’t have that excruciating shooting foot pain and shopping for shoes is far easier. If you can do it, do it!

missieandashley @bettiwears thanks. Yes I had it done too! 10 years ago! Worse surgery ever! I almost didn’t go back to do the other foot! Was glad I did but now it’s the “Taylor’s bunion (outside ) of the foot that needs it

bettiwears @missieandashley Huh, we’ll I am grateful to not have this additional dilemma but yes it was pretty gnarly having both feet done at the same time. Yes the back of the boot was flush at zero. And the heel measurement as well.

missieandashley If you don’t mind when you have a chance can you check the length again or just tell me the measurement you get! Thanks. The width is fine! I also have a Morton’s neuroma when I have my surgery! It’s from pointed shoes and crammed toes! Will never go back to even an almond toe. It’s square or round for me!!! Thanks again !

bettiwears @missieandashley Yes I see how that the whole measurement does not show in my photos. I will try it again when I get home. I know we aren’t suppose to communicate outside the app but the photo may not upload with the cropping in the app. Let’s see what I can get on another try.

bettiwears @missieandashley I’m not at home until the weekend but I will look at them again. Fairly certain that whatever size I posted them as would have been off the boots and if they were a 9.5 I’d still want to wear them because my feet have grown. But I could be crazy or blind so I will check again of course.

missieandashley @bettiwears Hi again! No I was talking about the measurement with the ruler Remember, I had asked if the tape was directly on the heel and the measurement looked like 9.5 or 9.75 ? You said it was cut off in the picture but the tape was on the heal. That would be too short ! Thanks though and happy holidays to you!
